Hiking and Walking

Hiking and Walking

I was disappointed when I looked for virtual hiking videos to use during indoor workouts when I couldn't get outside. Some that I found online were filmed on too busy, popular trails. The filmmaker would stop and say "hi" to the other hikers, which I found distracting, and the potential solitude of the trail was disrupted by the sound of him huffing and puffing up hills. I even purchased a professional video filmed in the Swiss Alps, only to find that it appeared to have been filmed from a car driving at slow speeds up a mountain pass in the Alps. I thought, I can do better than this! These high definition virtual hiking and walking videos are intended to be used for motivation during indoor walking and other exercise such as treadmill, stationary bicycle, stairclimber, etc. They can also be used for indoor walking meditation or simply to access nature when you can't get outside. Many of these videos have been edited and are not intended to be used for navigational or route-finding purposes. Most were filmed in the vicinity of Spokane, Washington, unless otherwise noted.
